HLA's are not useable.

Post by Kjutte »

Hi,

after appointing HLAs on my fightermage and fighter cleric (dual, not multi), they do not appear in my ability menu. I am level 25+, and I have disabled the 'delayed HLA' thing in BG2 tweakpack.

However, they do appear on my fighter/thief, archer, and Paladin.

I have tried reinstalling. (BG-Trilogy)

Can anyone diagnose this?

Thanks in advance!

Which HLAs did you select? Some don't show up as abilities as such; for instance some HLAs such as Energy Blades or Globe of Blades are put into your spell book.

Can't completely remember, but improved aclarity for one.
The exact same error is with my Fighter/cleric too.

They're both berserker-cleric/mage actually.
Only icon in abilities is 3xrage.

Well Improved Alacrity is a 9th Level Mage spell, which should show up in your spell book. You won't be able to cast it until you're an 18th Level Mage of course.

But it should be in Your spellbook already, on level 9 spells page.

Thanks for your replies guys!
Strangely, I have no additional spells in my spellbook. However, I did get the 'alchemy' trait in my abilitiessection. Also, my paladin has lost his 'slow poison' ability. I think my huge selection of mods without checking compitability have ****ed my savegames a bit, so I'll just live with it for now :P

Thanks again for your replies.

you could always use Shadow Keeper to add the slow poison ability back, under the Innate section.
