Nope, but if the choice was between Cernd and Jaheira I would take Cernd. I would take Cespenar, Noober or Neeber over Jaheira. you know that.

I support the campaign for playing with Cernd though; Danes like supporting the underdog ;-) Possibly because since the Nordic wars we have been the underdog.

Glad to have made you smile a smile a day keeps the shrink away ;-)

BTW, I almost finished the Vanilla campaign as evil (finished TheBigBad and his minions of WK in 2 rounds, then set out for Amkethran. But I got bored, not much fun in being evil, so I intended to try a solo runthrough to spice things up, but I find that I do not want to miss the banter. So, I will try to mod my game on this ancient wreck I use these days...

Edited to add, idea for NPC kit Mod
Combat Lawyer, a mage with access to only the following spells:
-"Bill", Gains 5-500 gp from any enemy. If enemy does not have the required amount enemy is teleported to prison in Athkatla
-"Lawyering", cite lawtext and paragraphs, thereby confusing the enemy, all enemies in 10' r are stunned or confused.
-more?

-"Quote Law", anyone in hearing falls asleep, including friends. Combat Lawyer may then "Bill" them with no RR.

I hope that Quote Law does allow a save, otherwise even my Sorcerer is doomed! DOOMED I SAY!

No Save, have you ever heard of salvation from Lawyers?

Spoiler
That being said I have actually once been saved by a good and decent defence lawyer and a court of just judges who could see I was basically an innocent caught in a web of lies and manipulation by a woman.
But let us not depress RPGGuy in a thread that I have derailed to lighten our moods ;-)

There is no save from a Combat Lawyer, he should perhaps also have the Backstab ability.

-"Quote complex Law", allows the Combat Lawyer to so befuddle his enemies that while deep in thought he may sneak behind them in clear sight and Backstab as Thief.

- "EULA Disjunction" - The Combat Lawyer may dispell all of enemy spells at will, this is caused by a hidden point in spellcasters EULA, which noone bothers to read

$1337 : I agree that all products of "Spells and YOU" company used by me, are to be administrated by any and all of Combat Lawyers. Thereby i confirm that i haven't realy read this document i am signing.

(and don't tell me that there is someone who does! Lies! BLASPHEMY!)

Okay, I honestly have no idea what you guys are rambling on about now. You've officially left RPGguy in the dust and so I'm going back to playing with my Barbie and Cernd dolls.

Yes, I think you are both crazy

I am ha ha ha ha Longshot :-)

Poor RPGGuy, we are talking about my new suggested character class; "Combat Lawyer/Combat Attourney/Combat Accountant" and its abilities and spells.

You started it with Overternd, first of the new class.

Well... he does actually... which is a pity. A combat lawyer would PWN him ;-)

How is the sorcerer doing (I still think you should have taken Kensai-Mage-Thief).

Cernd CAN be a strong character early game due to his good stats (through items and Shapeshifting) but more importantly due to the resistances gained through his forms.

If you feel like donating two strength attribute points to him, you can dual Cernd to a fighter for added benefit. If you're feeling cheap, you can use dispel on him to have him use his normal weapons instead of the claws, which in turn gives him great attack speed.

Each character can be good if played correctly, though of course some are made to be overpowered (arcane casters).
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”

Well, I would join your foundation were it not for a minor issue. I don´t play with Cernd because i pity him. I play with him because I like him as a character and actually thinks he is useful. In my latest playthru i had Cernd in my party along with my Ranger, Minsc, Aerie and Imoen. I never got the feeling that he was weak and useless.

In the beginning of SOA he had waaaay better AC (as a werewolf) than any of my other characters had at the end of TOB. Cernds best AC was -14 (greater Werewolf) while my PC and Aerie had -7 at the final battle. And, as Crenshinibon already pointed out, he has really good resistances as well. This makes him a very good tank throughout most of the game.

The only thing i don´t like with him is his movement animation when shapeshifted. Sometimes he moves but his legs does not making it look like he´s rollerskating or something.

Believe me, I wish 'the foundation' was overflowing with members to point were we could afford to be so elitist and exclusionary. :D

The fact that you have not only played with Cernd, but that you actually enjoyed it means your membership is assured...even if you don't want it.

Props for taking the path less traveled. I believe the true adventurer takes those type of paths while the cattle herd into the fast lanes.

That being said, I have yet to play with Cernd myself but have already committed him to my next playthru.

Cheers.

There should be a Cernd romance - he could get the PC pregnant, and then ditch her to run away and join a druid grove somewhere. Romance activities would include long moonlit walks, playing fetch, and an 'adult' scene where you have to persuade him to take a bath. :D :p
