Paladin Melee Issue

Paladin Melee Issue
I have an 8 person party running in the nodes now. 10th lvl Paladin (leader), 10th lvl Wizard (Paladin's wife), 10th lvl Cleric of Pelor, 10th lvl Fighter (brother to Cleric), 7th/3rd lvl Monk/Thief (wife of Cleric), 10th lvl Druid (Meleny- married to fighter), 10th lvl Wizard (Spungoir), and a 7th lvl Bard (Zaxis- I encountered him randomly after dropping off Prince Thommel and I figured why not). Running through the dungeons the Paladin was awesome- he is armed with a +3 Holy Longsword enhanced with Mighty Cleaving and Keen and he also has a +3 Holy Longsword enhanced with Frost and Icy Burst (specifically made for the fire node). As soon as the party enters the nodes (Earth then Air then Fire) the Paladin forgets how to fight. Seriously, he keeps missing against the node bosses. He has not hit one of them even when buffed by the druid, wizard or cleric. Is that normal? Even Zaxis did a measely 3 points of damage to the Fire Boss which is 3 more than my paladin did. Any clue as to why he stinks fighting elemental bosses?

You can check the numbers by clicking the little d20 symbol in the lower right and then clicking the "miss" report to see a breakdown. Most likely you're just rolling really low, but if there's something else going on, you should get some hint there via modifiers and such.
