Hi guys. I just got my NWN2 Gold Kit which also includes the NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer disc.
My problem is that according to my pc I still need to insert disc in the drive even if the disc is already in.
What gives? I can play BG2 and IWD2 but it can't read NWN2? All my discs are legit (as it should be ) Kindly enlighten my feeble mind coz I'm not techie.
Thanks!

It happens. If there's no problem with the disc (test in another computer/drive), then it seems like a problem with the drive.
Perhaps there's firmware updates to it which might help - but if not, I think you're out of luck.

If you have the possibility - try getting it burned onto another disc and see if that copy will work.
It might very well be the disc itself, and not the content wich is the issue (based on your error message) so a backup copy might work.

Thought of that. But I'm hesitant. Wouldn't want to be involved in legal issues just in case the copy would work.

Shouldn't be any legal purposes in that regards.
While not knowing the legislation of your country specifically - then generally speaking people are allowed to take a backup for themselves, and also allowed to do so if it is a means to get the game running.
It is naturally something else if you take a backup of other peoples copies etc.
