i disagree entirely. i also feel that this is an argument that will never die. so what im going to do, is make this character and paly as it until about level 17-20 and see if i have a problem from leveling to quickly.

heres the character specs i will use:
race - Khajiit
birthsign - The Thief
class specialization - Stealth
class attributes - Strength, Agility
Major skills - Armorer, Blade, Light Armor, Marksman, Alchemy, Sneak, Restoration

these are the same specs i suggested in an earlier post (although ill admit there were only 6 major skills listed instead of 7 so i added restoration to the mix)

i also suggest you try playing it as well and we'll compare our experiences playing this spec (that is, if you want to. makes no difference to me)

No thank you, I'm not a masochist, and I've been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. Alchemy and sneak as majors, along with armourer and the rest, that's level 10 before you reach Kvatch, definitely before the end of the first gate. You'll be trying to clear Kvatch with just the captain with a trail of dead guards in your wake, and the Captain will be spending all his time unconscious. Unless of course you're not bothering making potions, not sneaking and relying on magic and a blunt weapon to get you through!

well, so far im level 7 on my khajiit. havent really done anything special except for the thieves guild quests (im currently a shadowfoot). just kinda goofed off and did some random quests and dungeons. so far the only real regret i have is choosing alchemy as a major skill. ill admit that was a bad choice. i've raised it 14 points in 7 levels, doesnt sound too bad but it hasnt really done anything special for me except for a couple of damage health poisons and a lot of money, but i could get the same effect with alchemy as a minor skill. choosing sneak as a major and marksman as a major along with starting at 65 agil was awesome! until about level 3 or 4 i was one-shotting just about everyone. i havent been using my blade skill too much but thats starting to change as i no longer one-shot enemies anymore. my health seems to be fine. obviously, with this particular build im not supposed to be able to win 3-on-1 battles or anything, so i never try to. ill post again at level 14 and see if anyhting changes
