Tactics Mod: Did Mae'var give a good reward?

I'm pretty sure that tactics mod gives better loot when you kill a boss, correct me if I'm wrong.

So just wondering, does Mae'var give a good reward? I killed him before I installed the tactics mod. And is there anyway to make him respawn?

Most of the Tactics bosses drop better loots simply because most of them have been given better weapons. The 'new' bosses carry especially good loot.
