Character Mode or Strategy Mode

Post by Maharlika »

As much as I tried to look for it, I can't find in the Game Options where one chooses to play in Character or Strategy Mode. I'm in the part where I'm with Casavir in the Eyegouger Clan cave.

I'm having problems controlling Elanee and Neeshka. They always lag behind and not follow my character. When I click on of them, only Casavir and my PC follow while the other NPC stays put.

Quite annoying really.

Help! :(

2 different things.

The Character Mode/Strategy Mode..etc. represent the 3 green buttons at the bottom of the screen near the middle (to the right of your quick-slots). They just change the view.

Changing character action requires you to:

1. Open up the character sheet (under the menu).

2. Select the character who's behavior you want to modify by selecting them on the portrait's in the top right corner of the screen.

3. Selecting the right-most character tab and toggling o/off the radio buttons that will alter them in the manner expressed (..note that the sheet scrolls down for more options).

I had problems with the following for a while, eventually discovered that puppet mode seems to occasionally turn itself on. just go to the behaviour panel of a party member and disable it for all
I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me

Thanks for the response!

I finally figured it out. It wasn't the puppet and behavior modes that need to tweak. I had to prolong a right click on my character then a small menu pops up where I choose the command for everyone to "follow me." :)
