As the title says, where does one sell or have a good use for Remorhaz shells? This things are so heavy that I'm thankful I have fighters and clerics with high Strengths.
I've read on the net that Dirty Lew, the duergar back in Lower Dorn's Deep can make them into something. But that's in Icewind Dale. Isn't there anything useful anyone can do with Remorhaz shells?
Thanks in advance. More power GameBanshee!

All Remorhaz drop shells when they are killed.
I've played Hearts of Winter twice, it seems no NPC there wants to buy them. However, if you save your characters with Remorhaz shells in their inventories, you can opt to import these saved characters when playing the original campaign. These shells can be given to Dirty Lew found in the Deep Gnomes' village. Lew can smithy them into enchanted shields, for 30,000 gold, I think. However, the enchantment within such shields do not really measure up to the enchantments of the stuff you've looted back in Hearts of Winter. I think the enchantment is just like +1 and 10% Spell Resistance, not sure of it though. But see, not quite what you expected, right?
Conclusion: Carrying Remorhaz shells around with you is a big waste of time. And having them enchanted in the original campaign is a big waste of money.
