Weight Limits

Post by Ragin Cajun »

Wow...biggest issues (besides getting killed all the time..lol) is not being able to carry anything.

I took Warrior to have STR and went STR and END for my two main skills to max out carrying ability and health to start. Still, have light armor (can't wear Med or Heavy as I can't support the weight with my character) and with herbs and potions and a bow and two melee weapons (short swords, again for weight), I usually only have about 40 pounds to spare before even starting out on a quest or dungeon.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I seem to recall, but can't find it, isn't there a spell that is highly recommended that is like an astral recall or something that brings you right back to a vendor or something, even if you are overburdened?

You want the spells Mark and Recall. Both are available from the spell vendors in the bottom of the Balmora Temple.

While you are there be sure to also grab Almsivi Intervention which will teleport you to the nearest Dunmer Temple from wherever you are.

Note that these spells rely on Mysticism, so if your ability there is low you'll have a high failure rate. All is not lost though, you can often buy/find amulets and scrolls that have been enchanted with such spells.

I'd suggest doing a thorough search of Caldera, there's a very unusual merchant that you should definitely put a teleport marker next to.

It would be well worth checking out the multi-mark mod too.
