Did not see this on my lookups. I thought I saw somewhere that you could taunt or insult an NPC and force them into a fight. I tried to do that on a thieves guild quest in Hla Oad but had no success. I got both NPC's down to a 0 on friendship but they would not attack me. So I had to pick the lock on the chest and then they attacked.
So now I had a 1175g bounty and a tough time getting back to Balmora TG to pay the half price get out of jail card.
How does this work to get them to attack you first to avoid these bounties?

Ok well again, I read this up on the Wiki, but you need to make sure their desposition to you is NOT 0. Or Taunt won't work. If you fail your taunt you can bribe them so their desposition is back up and try again. When you finally succeed and they attack you, you can kill them without the bounty and get your money back.Ragin Cajun wrote:Did not see this on my lookups. But as an alternative you can use Frenzy Humanoid spell on them.
