Has anybody ever compiled all the stray facts and discoveries that TNO makes throughout the game into a timeline starting with your characters various events before becoming immortal and ending with the spot you find yourself in at the beginning of the game? Normally, I would play through the game again and try to dig up as much as possible. But, like every Black isle game, the combat gets way too hard and I can't continue (I gave up completely once I reached Trias).
I can't find a compilation of such game info anywhere.
History of the Nameless One and people he has met?
Well if you haven't completed the game I'd advise you try and do it first.
As for combat - I'm a bit surprised you're having issues here. First off, check if the difficulty level is set to default and possibly try lowering it even further (it's in gameplay options as far as I remember). Secondly, make sure you're properly using your characters. In the other post here on the forums you wrote that you never used any of Morte's abilities. While it isn't an abysmal mistake (I haven't used them in my last playthrough either), it may implicate you're not exhausting the other characters' abilities to the fullest. Should you still find the combat too hard, just post here what you're doing, what spells/abilities you're using and your chars' level/equipment.
The fight with Trias is dependant on what you did in fallen Curst; basically, if you've been helping around (there are a couple of miniquests in there) and killing the monsters before they did too much damage, Trias will have low hp. Analogically, if you just rushed to him, leaving Curst flooded with chaos, you'll face the strongest 'version' of Trias (too keep it short - there are several levels of his health pool depending on your actions in Curst).
I strongly recommend following Dan Simpson's walkthrough if you're generally finding the game difficult - GameFAQs: Planescape: Torment (PC) FAQ/Walkthrough by DSimpson,

It took every bit of patience I had to get that far and read all that dialogue along the way. Now, that saved game is long gone, and I can't be bothered to go through all that again.
Secondly, I already saw the last bits of gameplay in walkthrough videos. So I already know what happens from that point on and completing the game won't make much difference. Now its just a matter of connecting the thousands of dots.

The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.
