Durlag's Tower level 2 after exiting

Post by Litmanen »

Hi all, I'm playing TotSC, and I'm in the Durlag's Tower.
I have already reached level 4 and than I met Islanne who gives me the chance to exit the tower.
I have choosen to go out only to have the chance to sell all the objects I have found on my way down.

Then I re-entered the tower I went down to level 2 but I'm not able to reach level 3 cause all the doors, others than the 2 opened switching the statues, doesn't open.

How can I do?

I guess you have to do it once again, there was the same problem with a member that said he slept on the 2nd floor and all the doors got closed, so he had to start from the beginning.I hope you have wardstones, otherwise CLUA them in.

What do you mean with "do it once again"? O_o If you are telling me to begin the Tower since the first floor, so, I think I will not do it again.
i have the wardstones. I succeed to open the door through the Throne Room (putting the wardstone in the Sparrings) but I can't open the other doors.

Uff, It's so frustrating.

I assume Lopov means you'll have to redo the second floor.

Activate cheats and use Ctrl+J?

I never used cheats, so I don't know how to use them and I don't how works CTRL + J.

I have redone the second floor (when I came back from outside) but I can't open doors other thank I have said before.

I realise you've probably gone past this problem a long time ago, but in order to help someone else looking through the forums for an answer i'll add this: Once i had this very same problem. However, i tried lockpicking the door and to my surprise, it worked! (Imagine my face after sitting there looking for a solution for two hours and finding out it was that simple)
I can't imagine the doors being pickable from the very beggining but since i haven't tried picking them before finnishing the level, they may be pickable at that point too. Anyway, if someone has this problem try picking.

And remember, always try the easiest solution first! ;)
