Here's the deal, I made it through the temple without too much hassle. But after beating up the guard, I ran into a problem I haven't been able to find an answer to.
I blasted the door open, stepped through, got the cool clothes, and found myself in Arroyo village....where everything got nutty! I met a shaman who ran from me screaming I was a demon. Then a group of 4-5 warriors started attacked (and killed) me (happened several times). WTH?
I spent the last 2 hrs reading FAQs and walkthru's all over the internet, and can't find any mention of this happening to anyone else. They all read as if entering the village is a walk in the park. What did I do wrong?

It looks as if you made the villagers hostile. Did you accidentally hit someone or failed a pickpocket attempt ?
I'd just reload a prior save from when the villagers weren't hostile. If you don't have a save just create a new character and replay from the beginning, it's good to save often and use several different save game slots.

funny thing is...I didn't do anything that would instigate the villagers(Karma=Idolized). IDK what happened, maybe it was a load error? I'm playing a mac version (1.02) downloaded from Macintosh Garden. F2 also freezes my computer on a black screen when I try to quit the game.
At any r8, I restarted with a created character (problem happened with default char.). And other than presently being lost in the NE wilderness, I've made it to level 5 without any more problems. :laugh:
This can be closed and/or deleted.
