Hmmm... Walkthru missed someone (Spoilers)

Post by GoldDragon »

There is one other person in the Dalish camp, and there's no mention of him.

However, to get him to show up (he's not there until later, as his name, Dalish Messenger, hints), you need to do the following:

Spoilers, so highlight to read
Spoiler
First, side with the elves. It doesn't matter if you kill Witherfang, or cure the werewolf curse. But you don't get him if you side with the werewolves.
After either Lanaya (or Zathrian, if you killed Witherfang) swears to uphold the treaty's conditions, leave the Dalish camp and return. Suggested places are back into the Brecillian Forest, or to the Party camp. THe latter is better, as the bard might sing a pretty song, but it doesn't really matter.

After returning, head to the storyteller's circle. He's around there. Talking to him reveals that he is heading out to the north to find another clan, and hopes that they may know of other clan's locations, to spread the word of the Grey Warden's Call to arms.

ORIGIN STORY TIE-IN: If the PC Warden is a Dalish ELf, the messenger more bluntly tells you that hs seeks YOUR clan, and offers to bring them a message (two that I remember off-hand are that you miss them, and the other is that you look forward to fighting alongside them)
It's not really surprising, to me at least, that the walkthru missed this. After all, it took me only 15 playthrus  to find out, and an additional 2 more to figure this out, and even then I had to look it up.

If anyone is curious, my full game playthru count is up to 24. Dare I say that I like this game? :mischief: :D
