I am at the start of the Vixima area.. I have done all the looking for the beast things and want to complete the quest with the live plants and the ghouls in the crypt. I cannot beat these critters with the weapon I have. I need a weapon for these guys. Also the blacksmith days to bring him 3 types of ore and he will make me a weapon. Where is ore. Also I have looked at the scrools for making swallow and the grease once now they will not open for me to see the formula. Any help. Thanks
If you are still in chapter one, there is no silver sword yet. The plants can be affected by the igni sign. necrophage oil is your best bet for the ghouls. You can get both in chapter one. Make sure you are using the right sword style as well. Rule is if you are not doing any damage, you are not using the right style.
As for your other question, I recommend that you bring up your journal and click on formula. All your known formula will be listed there. Make sure you are right clicking on the scrolls as well. From the look of things, you may benefit from replaying the prologue as all the base mechanics are explained there.
