What is the worst place you ever found yourself in?

You know, someplace where you just felt really out of place and uncomfortable. Mine had to be when I first moved here from Maryland and went to a club. Everyone was wearing cowboy hats and line dancing, and here I am in my leather jacket and boots. Really strange.......

I once went to a casino in Sheffield with my then chinese boss.

It felt really surreal, all the chinese there new each other and were speaking in chinese about me. Not nastily I don't think, but I was uncomfortable all the same

Besides - I had no money and did not understand the rules to the games anyway

Outside horse stables, that was on fire. Listening to the horses screaming, and watching the roof fall down. Not being able to anything about it.

It's one of the bad things about being a fireman.

Just about any time that I go to somewhere I've never been. I often feel out of place and uncomfortable, even at places I've been before, because I'm so shy.

The worst would probably be, though I barely remember it at all, at VBS at a church in either Fort Worth, Texas or Ruidosa, New Mexico. All I remember is that it was at a Church of Christ church and one of the VBS ladies thought I was possessed by a demon, so she tried to cast it out of me.

She didn't "succeed," which was because I wasn't possessed; but it's not the most comfortable thing to do going back into a church where someone attempted to cast a demon out of you and 'failed,' especially when you're as shy as I am.

i always feel REALLY unconfortable inside any church, i just freaks me out, still trying to understand why. maybe i have churchofobia.
