With the status of most of your companions in mind, you no doubt go to Coinwell's For all. The day has flown by quickly, and you feel that if it were not for your unique resistance, you would certainly be very cold, the constant pour of snow has receded, but it is barely noticeable as the wind now is flinging every mass of snow vigorously around. On your way trough the streets you walk by one of the Cuthbertian clerics lecturing a child, both holding a snowball, about every act receiving their just punishment in kind.

Upon arriving to the heavily scented inn, you see Kuu'shar standing next to the bar, the bartender finishing his obviously condescending sentence.

Coragor stops when you duck down, seemingly unsurprised that you showed up all of a sudden. He looks at you for a second "Well, it's only about the greatest heroes of our time, the people who inspired me to become an adventurer myself. Nothing more important, and by the way, yes I did find you interesting for a while, humoring thoughts..." He stops his sentence short, seeming to be in a mix of searching for words and realizing he should not continue that sentence for his own good. Then he Bows deeply as he passes under you and pulls forth his key, unlocking the door to his room.

Kuu'shar
You recognize the symbols written there because of some of your fathers investigation in his later days, concerning what he meant was communication of the local thieves guild. One of the symbols there you know your father meant showed up at places about to be burned down, a circle with a great dot inside, a jagged line going trough the line of the circle, vaguely resembling flames, the meaning of the other one he never cracked, a rectangle within a rectangle. Gabriel, the leader of your group tomorrow catches your eye, as a feminine voice speaks up "could i help you with something sir traveler" the voice belongs to a wench, half-orc, and by human standards not much to look at at all. She spoke in a way implying she is not a normal employee, and that she considers whatever you have more than she has*

(*not a sense motive, more exactly what "sir traveler" meant)

Gabriel

I casually make my way to the bar, taking care not to allow my eye to linger on Kuu'shar for too long, and attract the innkeeper's attention

"Good evening to you, friend. I wish a room for the night and a meal. I trust that can be arranged."

The barkeep smiles and nods "Of course, pardon the smell though, would have been a crime to let it stink up the streets" he says, obviously aiming at the creature in the corner, he then reaches under the counter and give you a key and points to a door at the opposite wall "trough the door, down one floor and third to the left" then he walks into the kitchen and returns with a bowl of mush and a goblet of water "Three silvers, includes morning meal."

Gabriel

I smile back and take the key, handing over the three silver he charged without complaint. "I think I'll have a drink or two before I turn in, however." I say, turning from the bar and sauntering over to the table Kuu'shar is sitting at, trying to make it look like the most natural thing in the world. If anyone looks like they want to make an issue of it, I stare them down, daring them to speak up.

Gabriel
The wench step aside so you can reach you chair, looking at the table she speaks hesitantly, "M-May I bring you something Sir traveler, Sir?" A couple of drunks in the back of the bar proceed to engage in a small act where one of them mentions "gay for beasts" and pretend to kiss then be eaten alive by the other. Some drunks at the table point and laugh at them, the subtle hint towards the other side of the room seemingly lost to their intoxicated minds.

I watch the drunkards with a steely glint in my eyes before shrugging and answer the wench, looking directly at her. "A good cup of mead, if this place has any, will be all thank you. Otherwise I'll have an ale."

I lean back in my chair, keeping one eye on the drunks with the other watching Kuu'shar carefully. I consider the advantages and disadvantages of picking a fight with prejudiced cowards, whilst I await my drink.

Kushaar

I slightly smile at the half orc "I'll just have a tankard of your cheapest ale and something to eat madam" I nod at her, then I think of giving the Aasimar a nod, but refrain from doing it less it causes trouble for him.

I keep ignoring the drunks and from time to time scan the room, or keep an eye for anyone causing trouble.

The wench seems taken aback by Kuu'Shar's words and nods slowly repeating "mead, ale, food" over and over, as if to remember the order. one minute later she returns with two tankards of ale, and one meal, places them on the table and gives a short bow "Would the gentlemen like to pay as they leave or now, Sirs?"

(by the way The wench made a friend of mine draw it, for emphasis. (and please, do listen to her song as well))

Kuu'Shar

I hand the half orc one silver piece and four copper coins "Keep the silver" I say to the wench, and from time to time I stare Gabriel as I eat.

I pull out a silver coin and force it into the wench's hands. "Take that for yourself, I'll pay in the morning." I sit in the main room until I finish my drink, after which I head to my room and sleep, getting at least some rest before the journey begins.

The wench smiles to both of you "thank you" she seems moved to tears by this simple deed, "please, do call if you need anything more, Sirs" she bows graciously and continues tending to customers.

(Dream-scape, Y?1/2, Collective dream 1 - Night)

(This is a common dream for all player characters, although the dream takes no regard for other characters the "you" described in the dream, either referring to individual or group is to describe the player character having the dream.)

A shadow grows from the middle of your view in a rather normal dream, sucking all light away. You stand in a great hall, featuring a throne, you hate the creature sitting on the throne instantly, and all of its thralls, which surrounds all of you. You stand there together with all of yourself, past and future. Then you fall apart, ripped to shadowy strands by the thralls.

You stand in a circle, hands joined by only a few of you, facing outwards, closer to the throne with the creature now, but again surrounded. This time the creature surrounds you, and taunts, you instinctively know what to do, you let go of your own hands, lunging into the creature, the others of you doing the same. You feel your hands pounding on the creatures flesh, and know that the others of you must have caught air and run into the thralls.

A shrilling shriek. You have defeated and destroyed the creature now you have it's power in your hand, an the world at your feet, begging, pleading, weeping

What do you do?

(A short question for those of you done with their day, make of your answer what you want, as detailed or non-existing as you wish. From here it is a dream ruled by your character, and you may draw any conclusions you wish.)

Eimia

The room shifts as if my body is moving at light speed but I am not, the things that move around me I cannot see or comprehend. As I move, various jolts slow me down, and these jolts take the form of people I've known.

I still hold the power in my hand, but the first jolt takes the form of my mother. "Well, are you going to just stand there or are you going to show me what you've been practicing with that flute? I know I've told you that a young lady who can play the flute is an accomplished young woman, and it's a tradition in our family..."

I try to speak, to protest, but the jolt disappears. I form the power into a flute and begin to play it, and a second jolt appears. "I've entered you into a competition for the college. Do your best and keep practicing, that flute will help you start your life sweety," a voice says as it forms into that of my father.

I continue playing the somber, demonic tone I learned as a child. A third jolt appears, blurring an image of myself, "....I like the flute, it's a wonderful instrument, but I can't help but think I only like it because my parents raised me, designed me to like it.

Who cares about them, I'll play the flute alright, but not for them. For myself." I'm jaunted from hearing myself speak, almost perturbed at the sound of my own voice.

A fourth jolt appears. There are no words, only sounds. The sound of blades scraping together, the sound of chains rattling as if hanging over something that moves. The sound of thick, deep footsteps. A large hand grips itself around the top of my head, and a face appears before me. "I like your eyes" he says, in a whisper.

The blurring and traveling illusion stops. Everything around me is as clear as day. I'm back in the throne room, the layout is the same, but the tone, the upholstery and furniture is much darker. I sit, chained and bound to the ground but with the flute and the power still in my hand. I watch as my captor and rescuer is torn in half by a creature like no other. He had two heads, one somber and content, almost bored. One hyper and eccentric, and almost insane.

"What oh what should I do with you," he says, releasing me from my bondage. I immediately walk over to him, but my eyes are fixated on the death of that demon.

"Do you feel remorse for him?"

I say nothing.

"Do you pity him."

I say nothing.

"Can you even understand my tongue? I'm speaking the common tongue for you missy..." He sounds a little angrier from that.

I say nothing. I bend down to the torn and destroyed corpse, blood and organs scattered around the floor. I take one finger and swipe at the blood.

I stare for a moment, and taste the bittersweet taste that is death.

*I wake up*

Kuu'Shar

I finish my meal and then while giving a light nod at the Aasimar I look for the barkeep and ask to be taken to my room. Once there I go to sleep.

(The dream)

I see myself at the head of a great army, a great tide of change. I lead the unwanted and the forsaken, those that have no chance in life. I see how we conquer the world, bringing it to a new era, where all have an equal chance to live and be accepted.

I see myself leading the charge to change the world, bringing both destruction and salvation for the people of the land, I see a great tide of darkness collide with the white turrent that runs behind me, I see orc, goblin, kobolds, elfs human, dwarfs, ogres and halflings living and dying together. Loving and hating each other. Saving and killing each other. I stand in the middle of the change, were the world changes and burns at the same time. I see my father standing in front of me with a smile full of pride, yet eyes full of sorrow, he offers me his hand and I reach out to him...

*I wake up soaked in sweat*
