Posting your PC specs, OS and game version can help a lot.

On first sight, the Graphics card looks quite old. NWN2 needs 256 MB RAM on the videocard.
KotOR I is several years older as NWN2, so the comparison isn't so great.

If there's one component in a gaming rig on which you shouldn't skimp, it's a videocard. I got a ATI Radeon HD 4800 (512 MB on board, IIRC), which is three years old. I paid +/- 350€ back then. It still serves me faithfully.

uhh, 2 years old: The Radeon HD 4850 & 4870: AMD Wins at $199 and $299 - AnandTech :: Your Source for Hardware Analysis and News
and you got ripped off, bro. Use newegg or some other online retailer instead of going to your local shop. You get warranty based on the brand (try to buy Asus or Gigabyte, they give 3 years = max), and their online service RMA in getting your graphics card (GPU) replaced if it's broken is excellent and better than any local dealer i've met.

For advice on which gpu to get, you first need to know if your mobo has a AGP x8 slot, or PCI-e express. If you go to start.. run.. then type: dxdiag
the system info of your pc will show up after some moments. There you can see the system model, make note and google its motherboard specs. That will tell you.

If it's AGP, then cheapest and best option is a radeon HD 4650. I wouldn't spend more.

If it's PCI-e, then you get more options, see this site to get advice depending on your budget:
Best Graphics Cards For The Money: July 2010 : July Updates

All the advice in there is good. Don't be fooled by thinking 1 GB of video RAM is better than 512 MB. Those things stopped to matter 10 years ago. (see the chart in the end to see what does).
