deleting spells

I have too many spells that i an learn and i really need one. Is there any way that you can delete a spell? I seem to remember you can do this but I can[t remember how. I haven't played bg2 in years but am having computer problems so thought I would do it again.

navigate to the spellbook page, right click the spell you want to remove from the spell book you'll get the option to erase or cancel.

on the other hand you can also drink potions of genius (or otherwise increase int temporarily and learn spells.

Depends on your class - if you're a mage you can by right-clicking on the spell in your spell book, if you're a sorcerer you'll have to use Shadowkeeper.

koz-ivan's idea is better though, just drink a few potions that boost your Intelligence and memorize them then.
