Keep On The Borderlands Mod

Post by Philos »

Has anyone tried the Circle of 8 ToEE mod: Keep on the Borderlands? They posted a download link to what is supposed to be a final version (and a patch as well). I am really interested in it and wondered if anyone has tried it and what they thought. Thanks!

Really? Last I read they were still some ways away from finishing it. I haven't tried it, but if you do come back and let us know all about it! :D

My free time has been taken up with writing macro code for MapTool. :P

The mod is not finished yet.

You can check the "Status Report" thread in their forums, that way you will know when it's done.

I am also looking forward to it. :)

I guess I misinterpreted what they meant by "Final" version :o

I have downloaded it now but evidently need to download something else from them in order to install it.

I haven't been able to spend as much time going through their forum threads as I'd like (and probably need to).

Also welcome to you too donnaj8887

Great sig, Gilliatt. :D
Helloween before Kiske left was really good.

@ Philos, yes, their terminology is pretty confusing. It took me some time to realize there was a "progress report thread". It's the first sticky thread on top of the Keep on the Borderlands section of the Co8 forums.

@ Lord Plothos, like you said, Helloween used to be good! :D

Heh, yeah, now they suck things one doesn't mention in polite company.
At least when Kai Hansen left he gave us Gamma Ray. :)

Yes Gamma Ray, gave us some great music. And I had the chance to be in the crowd when they filmed their DVD in Montreal.

That said, I don't really enjoy the last albums. I guess I grew tired of Kai's voice. Although my favourite albums had Kai on vocals, I prefer Ralf's voice.

But hey, let's not turn this thread into a heavy metal discussion for too long! :D
