Help with Anomen

Post by cevapcic »

I was wondering, what did I do wrong, because Anomen fails his knighthood quest.
I:
-Didn't kill that guy that murdered his sister.
-I did the windspear hills quest.
-My rep is average (12 or something)

But he still fails.
The guy says, that he sometimes chooses the rightful path and that that is not enough, so he is cast of the order. Or something like that.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Lepo še je kakega Slovenca videt na forumu :D
Vseeno bom v angleščini odgovoril, ker mislim da ni dovoljeno drugače.

I read on Ironworks forum some time ago, that you also have to choose good and lawful answers to all the questions he asks you about Saerk's killing.I'm not sure if that's true but it could be according to your situation.

^True. Also you need a reputation of 9 and above plus the windspear hills quest should be done before he starts bitching about it.

The above info is true. well if you fail, take Vici instead, she's a much better cleric.

Offtopic: sem vedel da slovenci še igrajo prave igrce ;)

@Zorba,
Because English is used as the "common tongue" here we require that anything written in a different language is accompanied by a translation.

This isn't because we consider the English language to hold any kind of superiority. Rather, we want all posters to be able to understand one another.

Thanks :)

btw, I can't speak for other moderators, but I personally don't have a problem with off topic conversation, as long as it doesn't run too far out of range

Well If i was to take Viconia, that would mean i have to drop keldorn.

My party is currently:
Me (fighter - bow,two handed sword)
Nalia
Jaheira
Keldorn
Anomen
Yoshima

My desired party was:
Me
Edwin
Korgan
Keldorn
Anomen
Yoshimo or Jan(Then drop him for Imoen)

But that doesn't really work out.

If I am to take Vic I must replace Keldorn with another fighter. Minsc, Mazzy or Valygar.
Minsc an Valygar won't work because of Edwin, so I'm stuck with Mazzie and her 15 strenghth.
Looking at Vics attributes she has really low strength and constitution.
So tell me what do you suggest.
This will be my party if i do everything of the above:
Me
Edwin
Viconia
Korgan
Mazzy
Yoshimo/Jan

There a couple of different things you could do.

You could install the IEP Banter Pack. In addition to providing new dialogue it has a component that allows the PC to intervene before conflicts become too nasty,

Or, you could use Shadow Keeper to edit Mazzy's stats. Right now I'm using her as a tank in my game with dual flails, works great!

Remember that having low wisdom isn't a problem in this game, it should be but it isn't due to poor game design. However it is likely that Anomen will end up attacking Keldorn at some point so it's an either or option eventually.

There are other alternatives to Viconia if you are willing to use mods, they can be found here.

Also bear in mind that Keldorn will eventually attack Viconia, so if you don't want to use a mod and don't want to do without a priest, one way or another Keldorn has to go.

It's all sorted out now. I went toa temple and spent something like 10000gp to raise my reputation to heroic and Anomen passed the test. So now he has 16 wisdom and he and Keldy are getting along just fine. Thanks for all your help.
