question of health

Post by zippythezip »

Hate to ask such a silly question...but
Just staring the game, just two in my party so far. problem is they are getting pretty beat up. We got poison, we got broken bones, we got no health left.
Health regenerates but they look like a couple of zombies.
How do you get you party back to fine shape ready to do battle again?
NWN1 and 2 you just wait and rest, anything similar in this game?

No, this is different.

You can buy bandages, which will help heal the wounds. ( right click on them, and choose the wheel ).
Only the bandage heals broken bones!!!!

You can use also some plant which has healing effects or preparing from them potion, much effective. Like oneberry juice.

Later on, you will be able to create healing potion.

You can use wound powder also, keeping the regenerate rate longer, faster.

There is one more balm which also has healing effects.

Ask more, if you need something. :)

Atis.

Thanks for the reply, there are four of now in my battered party
I have been making the way back to town for healing or getting one member to run away and wait for a better time. Can party members heal one another?
Even though I have a learning curve to follow the game seems quite good and fun.

Hmmm, to heal other party members possible with the Balm of Healing spell.

If, you haven't got mage, then you should have to use the bandages. You can split apart them, so everybody can carrying.

Every kind of healing types can using during combat, so don't wait till one of your companion fall down. :)

Heal other party members can also with Bandages, Whirlweed, Healing potions and the like as long as you or a companion have learned to treat wounds.
Same goes for poison, then you have to learn treat poisons. And don't forget to invest some points in it, so that a healing or cure poison can be succesfull.
At the very beginning, in Avestrue, if you aren't a mage or something alike, then let Rhulana do the work as a nurse. Later it is advised to let Gladys or Gwendala to do that, as they have more succes in healing and treat poison.
