Can I play at 1920x1080?

Post by Mike89 »

The max ingame res for Vampire Bloodlines is 1280x1024. My new widescreen monitor is 1920x1080. Can I play at that res?

If so how, and if so can it be played at that res with plus patch?

Here's a handy reference url for wide-screen gaming.

According to the site all You need is this file and You should be able to set custom resolutions,

[quote="widescreen gaming forum]Version: Retail with patch 1.2 installed. Please note that this game has many unofficial patches. To the best of my knowledge none of the unofficial patches touch the changed file so you should be OK. [/quote"]
and according to poster it should work with unofficial patches.

I haven't tested it myself, so You'll have to try it to confirm it.

I'm pretty sure that I played it at 1920x1080, I only used the unofficial patch, so it should work.

I notice there is a file called "respatch.exe" in the "Tools" folder. So evidently the patch supplies this feature.

Yes thats how I play at 1920x1200 (16*10 format), and it also supports HD Video aka 1920x1080 (16*9 format).

Considering how fun the game is, I kinda wished someone would fix the parts of it that arent that good, like the animations. Considering that my Toreador has Appearance 5, its quite strange she walks like ... um, well, not natural at all.
