Finishing the museum without bloodshed (possible spoilers)

I've beaten the Museum without bloodshed as a Toreador. I just observed the movement patterns of the guards and moved accordingly. When noticed, I would activate Celerity and quickly finish up the remaining quests in the area and get out of there, just as Shizz said.
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”
If you have stealth, and crouched through 99% of the level, and take back ways as much as you can, as well as any and all things you should have learned already, you can not only pass this with no kills, but with out a whole lot of time to waste. It shouldn't take that long to pass the game. Remember that the museum itself is easy, it's the downstairs that it gets tricky, but it is not that hard, either.

Whow actually that level is really short ... and much less complicated than I thought it would be.
I first leveled a Malk to there and well lets say with Obfuscate its very trivial. I showed myself, lured the guard away from his room, used Obfuscate and then hacked the computer. I didnt bothered with the laser beams, but just used Hysteria or how its called on the guy with the card.
Then I tried it with the Toreador ... couldnt manage to get the guard away from his place, so I didnt hacked the computer. Needed some reloads but afterwards I had everything. Only issue was getting through the laserbeams, because otherwise as Toreador you really have to kill a guard.

If memory serves, hacking the computer just disables the cameras. In any case, two of the easiest ways to get through the laser beams is to either just time your movement or to attack the panel on your right, which in turn shorts the system, thus disabling them.

What you need to really go past the laser beams is to get into the room with the guard in it. What you can do is open the console, noclip through, and come out, and all is done. Or start to feed on some of the guards that are fairly close and in ear shot of the room. When you are done, shoot the window enough to make a hole for you to go through, and feed on the guard. (All you do is feed for a second or two. Just enough to get their heads down. Don't kill them.) Or you can use your abilities to get through it. I don't remember which ones, but a couple can really help you out. You shouldn't have to kill a guard at all through out the whole place. Maybe a bite or two, to get your blood back up, but you should be able to make it through no problem if you have blood packs, and use them when you are low.

Err yes, I kicked in this panel or something then crouched through the laser beams.
If you fail to do so, the following door is locked and you need to kill the guard. At least on a Toreador. As I already wrote, my Malk could just run through the laser beams then use the lowest dementation (the one with laughter) so the guard drops the key.

IIRC the door ist locked anyway (but that could've been a bug on my first playthrough) - anyway, you don't need to obtain the key from a guard: If memory serves, it's lying around on/in a desk somewhere in the basement.

Why would you want this if you can just creep up on someone and suck him dry which is more silent than any weapon could be. Also would need to be a one shot kill since if the victim survives you sure as hell can bet on the victim going to alarm anyone nearby.Sir Twist wrote:I've always felt that there should be a sound suppressed weapon in the game. Probably one of the 9 mm's in the game would work.
Not that would mean anything since you know La Croix want you to get through without killing. Silently killing or killing loudly doesn't matter in that case.
I'd much more like to see in sich games the ability to bond people together and place them to a dark place so others don't find them.
Not in the degree Splinter Cell needs this though.
Guns aren't only good for killing people, you know... they're also great for demolising cams at range, attacking weak-but-essential structures (Leopold Society, anyone?) or creating a distraction. So, yeah, a silenced gun would indeed be appreciated - or for the crossbow to work properly, since the NPCs seem to be able to hear it just fine even over quite a distance.

Just RUN!
My strategy lacks subtlety,
JUST RUN!
Run through the area as fast as possible, shoot down every camera you see, it doesn't matter if the cops shoot you, just keep running and you will eventually find a cop standing alone to drink off.
Run first to the fetish room, hide in the corner, usually one or two guards show up. If you have any non-dmg stuns, like trance, use it on one of them, then drink part of the others health, then run.
If possible run in every place BESIDES the area near the key pad, go into that room, get passcode, and type it as fast as possible. After this go down the hallway (shoot the camera as always) and run through the beam hallway. I've never had the door at the end lock due to tripping the beams, but that just might be me, so er... do whatever you have to to open the door. The last guy, drinking off him makes him drop the key, do that, get key, open door, keep running, AND HERES BECKETT.
DONE,
Gonin
