Help, Bugged Hp?

Post by UberDuplo »

Well I just noticed that there is some sort of bug with my main character, he has more hp than max hp, like 200/184, I loose the "extra" hp everytime I rest(or get dmged) and then they are gone untill I load up the game again, regardless if I save after making the hp 184/184, even my old saves 2-3 lvls back are like that aswell, somewhere around 160/150.

Anybody here come across some hp bugs like this before? I wonder if I actually run around with too little hp, and if I should have 200 instead of 184, as khelgar has 245, and even tho he has more constitution I carry the silver shards which give me 10 hp more, so really I'm only supposed to have 174 hp, and he 245? we're the same level (obviously) he is full fighter, I'm a fighter, weapon master so the hp rolls per lvl shouldn't be any different besides the 3 more constitution points he has over me.

Never encountered that particular problem, though there are certain effects that grant a temporary bonus to HP like the spell Aid. It may also be that your game activates Blessed of Waukeen by default, which gives a persistent aura until you rest (but I think that only adds +1 saving throws). But regarding the differences between your PC and Khelgar's constitution, you don't say what Race you are, I think Shield Dwarves start with extra bonuses to constitution, which is would explain why Khelgar has more hit points. Play as an Elf and you get screwed for hit points as I remember, play as Aasimar, Drow, Tiefling, Genasi and you are always a level (or two) below the rest of your party than everyone else.

Khelgar may also just be luckier when he rolls for hit points, your number of hit points per level is based on what you and Khelgar roll (d10) + constitution modifier. It may be also be that NWN2 doesn't do a roll for henchmen and always gives them maximum HP per level, whereas your PC has to rely on luck to get a good increase to HP.
