Do downed party members gain xp at the end of the fight?

Do downed party members gain xp at the end of the fight? Just wondering if I want to reload if someone dies, or if they get the xp anyway. Couldn't find any info on a search. Thanks!

Haven't played in a long time, but I believe they do - but it should be relative simple to check out in the game.

all party members gain equal xp used and not used even the ones that are at the ebon hawk.

Not sure- but if the characters outside party gain exp too, i dont see why downed members won't

Actually, the whole process is even simpler. The only character who actually gains xp is the PC. All NPCs have their xp linked to yours. So you can put an NPC in the Ebon Hawk at the beginning of the game, pull them out for the final battle, and they'll suddenly have all the xp necessary to level up, though you still have to manually run through the levelling unless you have auto-levelling turned on.

What this means during play is that as long as someone in the group survives you get xp, allowing your character to level up, and that is all you have to worry about.
