I guess there aren't any clear-cut strategies as to how to kill the governor, but you can try a couple of things. You can exit and reenter the Sith base at any time, so leave, get your combat-oriented party members and go back to the Sith base. You can also try to activate as many shields and stims as you can, and don't forget to replenish your health before fighting the guy.

Yeah don't be afraid to try different strategies.

Primarily don't bother with energy weapons as he engages a shield right away.

Have Carth, Zaalbar and yourself pounding with meelee weapons as he can't stasis all of you at the same time. He will waste his rounds draining life or stasis before he knows what is happening. He loses more vitality points than he gains from drain life if all 3 are pounding on him with meelee weapons. Be sure to use inventory screen to use medpacks if you have to.

Bastila should focus on using Force push to keep him off his feet and waste his rounds while the PC and another meelee fighter pound him.

Or have T3 continuously use the flamethrower at him while 2 keeps hitting him with meelee weapons. As long as you can take away more vitality points off him per round than he can take from your team, victory is yours.

Well i try with bastila, the robot and myself and i don't see that work well. I prefer to use Carth, Zaalbar and Torrek Dana (myself) with vibroblades and zaalbar use his weapon. Sometimes (rarely) the sith governor is almost near to die but suddenly he makes more stronger than my 3 members. I trying for 2 days in the same scene and nothing. Maybe it's me... in that case, that's the reason why i'm here trying to understand what i'm doing wrong.
Anyway, I'm keep going trying, thank you.

Well like I said, it is better to have two guys pounding him with meelee weapons and the third would be either Bastila constantly using force push or T3 using the flame thrower (not both). Why do you have Zaalbar using his weapon anyway? His dexterity is atrocious so he is better off pounding on the Sith governor with the vibroblades and he has the hitpoints to take a few hits. Three with meelee weapons is even better but they can get in each other's way.

The reason why he may seem to become stronger is that he may use drain life on one of your guys if you see green numbers indicating he regenerated and a red arc appear then he used that power. Go to inventory and utilize the Use Item button to have medpacs go to work without wasting a round if you have to. The Sith governor will waste a round going for a medpac but your party does not have to suffer that penalty. You are allowed to use ONE item from inventory at end of each combat round (assuming you use the Auto-pause feature).

Grenades can also help if you're quick. IIRC, you can land one before he starts running towards you.

What I am wondering is how the shields help with the Sith governor when he doesn't use any energy weapon. Just a double vibroblade unless it is Brejik's armband you are referring to?

EDIT:
Oh I see you edited your post to take out shields. Here is another tip for the future. Get Fear/horror for Bastila when you get her. The governor seems to have good reflex and fortitude but lousy will save. It actually costs her less to use horror (13 per use) than Force Stun (17 per use) plus it is an early area effect disabling force power. I was actually surprised that he was vulnerable to Horror and fell very quickly to sneak attacks from a scoundrel PC.

Sith governor

Hey guys, i tried taking your advice, the closest i ever got to killing him was when i was in a party with me, bastila, and zaalbar. zaalbar and i both had vibroblades in both hands, and bastilla force pushed him until he was in a corner, after which she started to attack him as well. we got him to almsot 5% before we all died. i tried it with other mixtures, except i havent done much with the flamethrower. But my question is, do you think that plasma and frag mines would make much of a difference? I know that it takes time to set up, but it made a huge difference in the arena fights. Also, something that i found out is that he CAN stun everyone in the party at once, although he doesnt do it often, it has happened to me once or twice.

I just gang up on him in melee with every partymember, usually my PC, Zaalbaar and Bastila. I´ve never had any problems.

I've kicked this guy's scrawmy Sith ass on solo and hard at the same time as a level 7 Scoundrel. All I did was set a couple of mines in the hallway, mainly plasma mines and lure him into them. If that doesn't work I'll just run into the hallway again and throw concussion grenades at him until he is stunned. If he catches me in a satsis… well I reload or use all of the advanced med-packs I have available.

When I am not playing it solo, I use either Carth and Bastila or T3 and Bastila. I give Carth a double sword and Bastila uses her lightsaber. When I use T3, I give him a flamethrower and the Sith governor is dead in three rounds minimum. Once I killed him in two hits with T3 in my party, my main character as a soldier with Master Power Attack and Bastila spamming him with Force Push though she was only able to get 1 off before he died.

take carth and zaalbar, but have carth use blasters for backup, give zaablar a double blader, and you should use a fully upgraded vibroblade :mischief:

My strategy is basically the same as the duelling ring, and most other places on Taris - grenades!
And somebody mentioned T3's flamethrower - I seem to remember T3 beating the governor practically on his own when I messed up with my PC a few times.

T3 is an amazing fighter when you give him one of those kick ass droid flamethrowers lol.

But then again... anyone would be kick ass with a flamethrower that does more damage than any other weapon in the game at once. 30 damage if I'm right.

And the sith governor only has around... 80-100 VP. Three Flamethrower hits and that guy is dead.

This doesn't matter anymore since you probably have already finished the game. I'll nevertheless say how I beat the governor:

Revans level was only 2 so I used Zalbaar and Carth to kick his ass and Bastila to heal us again. It's easy to escape and go back in to finish him off as long as Revan isn't killed!

A Good Way

Alright, this way worked perfectly for me,

I had T3-M4 and Bastilla, i spammed stun beam (the robot weapon) and force stun. With main character just attack with highest dmg weapon. If it works well, once stunned he'll never wake up, you will take no dmg, and you'll be mad proud of yourself

Cheers,

What i do is:

1 ranged 1 melee & Bastlia

1. Pause & make bastila cast her force powers on him at first

2. Still paused, make your ranged character bombard him with special attacks, (power blast, sniper shot etc, this will help getting his shield down which will make bastila's lightsabre work more effectively against him)

3. Batter him up close with melee weapons with your character
