i'm a bit confused how to buy magic items
if i have a +1 greatsword and i want to make it a keen +1 greatsword, how mush would it cost to make it keen
if i then wanted to add shocking burst onto that how much would it cost?

The price of a weapon is base price + 300 for masterwork + 2*X²*1000, with X being the total enhancement bonus of the weapon.
So a +1 longsword would be 35 base price + 300 masterwork + 2*1²*1000 = 1335 gp.
Keen is a +1 bonus, so that's 335 + 2*2²*1000 = 8335. (2, because Keen is +1 and you need at least a regular +1.)
To upgrade the weapon from +1 to +1 Keen, just pay the difference.
