Time to kill Firkraag!

Post by Baronation »

So my party has reached a level where I think we can start killing dragons, already dispatched one of them in the temple ruins, now its onto Firkraag.

Just one problem, I can't remember where the bugger is!

Can anybody remind me where I left this troublesome dragon?

Thanks.

Indeed big red lies in the Windspear Hills. Make sure to bring an assload of fire resistance spells with ya!

Happy slaying... Do post battle results...

All it takes is a Finger of Death (and maybe some Lower Resistances and Dooms etc)
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

Another one down, a combination of resistance lowering spells and summonings took care of him, although I did lose Minsc near the end.

He survived all my finger of deaths, disintergrates and a few other insta-death spells so it was down to strength and magic missiles in the end.

No loot though! I expected a bonanza of gems and coin Oh well, the 65,000 exp points made up for it.

He has loot(spoiler):
Spoiler
-carsomyr +5(best paladin weapon in the game)
-red dragon scales(give it to Cromwell and he will make a good plate armor from it)
-+a cloak of protection and around 5000 gold(it was long ago so sorry if this is not accurate)
So just load back or go back to his corpse dont leave those neat items on him(use tab to highlight items you can interact with, his corpse is big so its hard to find it)

What? No! Don't! Ever! Disintegrate destroys items carried by enemies aswell (except for the key, quest ones)

tworca's right, don't ever use disintegrate, if that was what finally killed him, via spell or item, then that's why you didn't find anything.

Pressing the TAB key highlights all objects you can interact with, including treasure by the way.
