Hello all,my name is Dimitris and to be honest I registered here to ask for your help.Yes the site is awesome,yes I used some of the guides,read some of the threads on the Vampire Bloodlines forum,but I came over a specific bug which I can't find help to fix on the net.
After I finish the Hell at Hallowbrook Hotel quest,I'm supposed and talk with Xiao,I'm supposed to go and deliver the quest to LaCroix in the Ventrue building downtown,right?Well I can't get to him because there's no option for me to click on an elevator to open.The guard's seat is empty(he was killed by the Sabbat earlier I guess)and...I can't do anything to call the elevator!
I have used the official patch 1.2,I have used the unnoficial patch 7.0 and the 7.2 and still nothing.What the heck am I supposed to do?

Hm.. I could be wrong, but I think this is the part where you walk around the back and use an alternative maintenance lift or something. It should be on the other side of the lifts.. somewhere..

No, forget what I said. I remember now, that room is the entrance room for Nosferatu (they can't get in through the front door). You should be able to get in that way from the sewers, but I'm not sure if that will get you anywhere. There may be an elevator, but I have some doubts whether that's actually the way to go up.
If the walkthrough on this site can't be of help, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until someone else comes across this topic. It's quite a well looked after forum though, I'm sure someone will read it before long.

I discovered another bug as well!During the Necromantic quest,I don't see Pisha(or what's her name).She just doesn't appear.Although the guy's body is there and I see him knocking at the door before he gets killed.But she's not there.What the heck?

Did you install the unofficial patch before starting the game? It is my understanding that installing the UP to an in progress game will give unpredictable results and your best bet is to install the UP then start a new game. Sorry.
BTW, the UP includes the official 1.2 patch so just install the game and then install the latest UP.
As for not seeing Pisha, it sounds like you tried to meet her too late in the game. If you've done the Hallowbrook Hotel quest you have missed the opportunities to do her quests, thus she doesn't appear. Her quests involve getting items from locations you can only visit once in the game. Once you've been to these places you can't go back.

Now the only thing I'm wondering is that...if I start the game all over again,from the beginning...should I use the same character or choose another clan?Hehehe.I had a Ventrue.Yes,because that's what I got when I replied to the questions.I like it.But if I had to choose another race I would go for a male Gangrel or female Toreador probably.

Here is a workaround to your elevator door problem: activate the command console and use the noclip command to pass through the elevator door.
Activate the command console:
1. Exit the game.
2. Right-click the icon you use to launch the game and choose Properties.
3. Add " -console" (without the quotes) to the end of the program's target box. It should read something like:
c:\program files\blah=blah-blah\vampire.exe -console
4. Click OK.
Note: from now on when you start the game the console will appear on the main screen. Just press the "~" (tilde) key to hide it.
Pass through the elevator door:
1. Load the game and position your character in front of the elevator door.
2. Press the "~" key to show the console. Type "noclip" and press enter. Press the "~" key to hide the console.
3. Move your character into the elevator. Once his/her entire body is inside the elevator repeat step #2 to disable noclip.
4. Press the elevator button marked PH and you should be taken to LaCroix's suite.
