problem with romance in the Underdark

Post by PaulyWalnuts »

Okay, so I screwed up my romance with Aerie by sleeping with that one drow in the Underdark. I'm just starting Throne of Baal, and I'm wondering if there's any way that I can kick-start it again using the console.
I tried setting the global for Aerie romance to 1, but immediately after when I check the global it says it's 3, so I'm back to square one. Is there any way around this?

Sorry though. Can't answer your question.

How about a romance with that dark elf cleric? She's the one female I didn't piss off in shadows. Is it possible to start a romance in throne? Or can you only continue ones you already had going?

If you've gone far enough with Aerie, the other options got "closed" - at some point in the game it just checks which one you chose and the others don't progress anymore.

From what I know, you can only continue an established relationship in Throne, but it's strange that tweaking the variables didn't work..

I'm sure that some pretty aggressive editing with the globals in shadowkeeper can get you on track. I've been there, I'm sure, and it's a bit of a nightmare sorting everything out, but I'm positive IT'S POSSIBLE!

All about romances in depth here. The guides include even tips on how to mess up with the CLUA Console.

But I would advise you otherwise. You're the son of Bhaal, the God of murders, so get in a role - kill the stupid b**** for ditching you. Nobody should mess with the godchild!
