Help with Rillifane

A friend is having trouble summoning the Avatar of Rillifane. He places the artefacts needed to summon him, but he doesnt show

. Does my friend need to do anything else, i cant help as i cant remember...

Spoilers !!!!!!!!

There are three items: the moonsword, the talisman of Rillifane, and the Goblet of life that you place within the basin in the Temple of Rillifane. Also to get the quest you must talk to Demin first. I’ve never tried, but maybe he didn’t talk to Demin and the quest hasn't been given, so it isn’t working? But if you do these things it should automatically happen after you place the three items in the basin.

I'm at this stage in the game now and I have spoken with Demin, got the quest, got the stone harp, the moonblade and the cup.

I put them on the alter of the temple and BAM! Nothing happens.

The temple doors are still locked and I'm still outside. I also have a stone horn, putting that on the alter does not help either.

Anybody else have this trouble, or am I missing something obvious?

Oh dear...

After spending about an hour messing about with this I just noticed the talisman in my pack. Boy do I feel stupid!

The Stone Harp is not used to summon Rillifane. Neither is the Stone Horn.

To summon the avatar, you need to place the chalice, the blade and the talisman on the altar, nothing more, nothing less.
