Haer'dalis has no spells (bug)

Post by QuenGalad »

This is the second time I've encountered this bug. The first time was when I told Haer'dalis I didn't want him in the party back in Merkath's dungeon and only added him once he was available "for good". His spellbook was empty, he knew no spells and he had no spell slots. The book was not greyed out.

Now I had him around from the begining, but didn't really look into his book since I had both Imoen and Edwin and he was wearing armor anyway. But then I switched it for the bard chainmail, and no spells again.

What's even weirder is that when I open shadow keeper, under "memorization" he's got priest spells checked, level one to five.

There's 5 different "Haer'Dalis creatures" in the game, the one with 1200000 XP is bugged. The next one has 2500000 XP and is not bugged. Also the one before the bugged, at 800000 XP also works.

So basically you get the bugged Haer'Dalis if you take him when your XP is between 1200000 and 2500000.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

Strange. It fits both situations, though.

I gave him some spell slots via shadow keeper, and when he leveled up he got one new spell slot. Unfortunately I didn't check with the levelup screen whether that's what he's supposed to have.

Oh well, he's still playayble.
