MOTB Bugged?

I read in a review of MOTB that it would be advisable to reinstall NWN2 before installing MoTB. Is this true? I hate to do this because I still play NWN2, and have three characters going through the game. I worry about reinstalling game, Tony's Hackpack, and my games in progress. I would almost rather do without the expansions. What do others say?

Nope..

Just install and then use the "update" feature of the disk to make sure you are all "patched-up".

I'm not however sure of games already in-progress.. probably best to finish those first before installing MOTB. You can always save those characters near the end of NWN2 with an Export of the character (..so you can play them in MOTB).

You do however have to be careful with mods.. IF the mod is only good for NWN2 then hold off on installing MOTB until you have finished with the mod (..but basically check with the author of the mod).

If this is true ...

then I won't use MoTB. I like running different characters through the OC too much. Thanks, Scott, for the reply. Can anyone else confirm that one is liable to mess up the NWN2 OC games one has in progress if one installs MoTB?
