Nintendo DSi RPGs?

Post by GawainBS »

I decided that if I buy a handheld, it will be the DSi, mainly due to Dragonquest IX.
Do you know of any other worthwhile RPGs on the DS? I could scrunge up reviews, but I don't trust those...

Thanks in advance!

Well, the one RPG I´d recommend first and foremost is Orcs & Elves. As you might expect with such a title, it´s your die-hard, no fringes, classic fantasy role-playing game. AND it´s made by id Software ! :D

In short, I´d describe it as "the creators of DooM cloning Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon" ... this statement should speak for itself.

Further suggestions would be Chrono Trigger and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

And though it´s not a "true" RPG, I also had quite sum fun with Overlord: Minions.

Well, u seem to be a well versed connoisseur of the English language, so look for them games at ebay.com or ebay.co.uk, I am sure you will find them there.

I'm not so much worried about playing them in English (They don't translate games into Dutch, and translations suck anyway), but rather that they are compatible with a European DSi. I had bad experiences with buying console games from the internet.
