power armour *possible spoilers*

Anyone know how to get the power armour skill so i can wear the power armour. I am idolized by the brotherhood of steel and have got the key to safe house.

Just for completeness, there's another way to get power armor training even if you've ticked off (or killed) the Brotherhood of Steel, but it happens pretty late in the main quest line and there appears to be a complicated set of conditions that will trigger it.

If you picked up Arcade as a follower at the Old Mormon Fort, he may approach you shortly before the battle at the Hoover Dam and offer a side quest. At the culmination of that quest you will receive power armor training. I think he's more likely to offer the quest if you used flattering or at least polite dialog options in your conversations up to that point, and there are certain people & places that seem to remind him of his background and cause him to initiate dialog (again, agree with him or be polite)

My armor training

I got my armor training ***SPOILER***

By siding with the Hardin to find evidence that the elder has broken the chain code or something like that. You have to go out and find the 3 missing squads of Brotherhood members and bring their holotapes back to him. He takes over and gives you a suit of power armor as well as the training for it
