They're not free, but I don't see them being sold on Steam. And not sure if the ones you can buy at other retailers are compatible. Might want to ask Steam support that. Some of the DLCs are nice.

Ah ok mate thanks!

Question, if I make weak alchemy potions do I get less points on the alchemy skill and more on bigger potions? If that makes sense ;p

The storage-area upgrade can also be stolen by taking the "house storage area" note from on top of a crate in Marinus Catiotus' basement in the Elven Gardens District. Luronk gro-Glurzog in the Temple District also has the storage and painting updates in his basement. The House Kitchen Area upgrade can be found in Santus Varrid's house (also in the Temple District) upstairs, on a desk, along with the wall hangings and paintings upgrade.

Well I just bought the Game of the Year edition of oblivion on steam, I haven't installed any DLC's though?! Are you guys sure the DLC's come with the GOTY Edition? As I said I do have a quest that just randomly popped up called 'A Door in Niben Bay' is that anything to do with the DLC?

No need to tell about Attributes cos Ares did it.

No. It's making the stuff that counts.

Sorry I dunno how expensive, not having xbox. Mine are PC and I forget how much they cost.
I have vanilla Oblivion, Knights of the Nine + downloadable content ( Wizards Tower, Vile Lair, Mehrune's Razor, Horse Armour, The Orrery, Spell Tomes), and Shivering Isles.

Hey guys, has the forums been down? I've been unable to access them for 2 days ;<

Fljotsdale I play on pc also, I've checked prices and most of the DLC's are only like £1.00 each so ill probably get them when I've gotten bored with the current content!!

So, I am now an official assassin!! ;D Yes, I joined the dark brother and done the first couple of quests. The armour they give you upon joining is awesome for my character, the stats they give benefit me loads!

I am in need of some assistance with the Mage guild quest line.. I am up to the quest 'Information at a Price', hopefully your familiar with this quest. Well I disposed of all the vampires in the cave and used the 'special' vampire dust for my alchemy potions (as I didn't know at the time that I need to give them to the vampire hunters to get them out of town). So I tried ordinary dust on the hunters but no joy. I went back to the vampire cave 3 days later and they haven't respawn, so can you only get the dust once? Is this a bug? As the only way to complete the quest now would be to kill the hunters but I don't really want to acquire bounty for murdering them.

Please help me!

Hm. No, not a bug. Any chance you can go back to a save before you killed 'em? Or before you sold the vampire dust? If not, you will have to kill the hunters.

Ok, lemme tell you what I do, then I'll make a suggestion.

First off, I TALK to head vampire hunter; he's near the temple, usually in front of it. I tell him the vampires are in the cave. I go to the cave myself, but don't enter it, just before midnight. I watch until the hunters have all entered the cave. Then I follow them in and wait near the door. The vampires kill them. Then I kill the vampires. No need to give the dust to the hunters that way.

Anyway, my suggestion. Go to the hunters now, tell the head one about the cave (if the option still comes up) and wait for them to go there - then kill them when you are all deep inside the cave (to stop 'em escaping). I don't know if this will work. I have never had to try this myself - it's just a suggestion to see if it will get you out of a pickle! Lemme know if it works!

Oh, and yes, the forum has been upgraded, apparently. I had the same prob myself, not being able to see stuff or post.

Unfortunately, you have to finish that quest to get any further in the MG questline.

Hey, I ended up just going back on the save and doing what you said, sending the hunters into the cave for the vampires to eat muhaha, then I finish off whats left!

Thanks for that tip, made it much easier!!

Yeah... and they do some of the work for you, too. Some vamps are usually dead, and more injured, so easier to kill.
