Anybody know how to get into the Abandoned Brotherhood of Steel bunker near Nelson and Camp Forlorn Hope in Fallout New Vegas? Clicking on the hatch says a key is required, so I did every quest I could find for anyone associated with the Brotherhood of Steel. My rep is Idoliized (Spoiler
I even became a member, and they gave me the key to the safehouse in the northeast near Raul's shack
), but still no key to the abandoned bunker. Doesn't matter who the Elder is (tried it both ways). Doesn't matter what companions I have with me either. Is the key just hidden somewhere in the wasteland, or do you get it in a quest for another faction, or is it just a bug?

Does it mean that Obsidian is advertising the Dead Money DLC by just slotting in that hatch? If that is true, then they're no different than Bioware when it comes to DLC-specific NPCs in Dragon Age: Origins (a.k.a. Warden's Keep as an example).
Either that or it could just be an oversight, but I bet that it is more the former than the latter. Sure you can ignore it, but why put them there in the first place if the player didn't buy the DLC?
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
There are a few places on the world map that look like they're there for future DLCs. The Northern Passage and Canyon Wreckage are two more examples. As long as they don't put in NPCs who actually try to sell you the DLC, this doesn't bother me.

That makes sense. Wish I hadn't wasted those powder charges trying to blast my way through the Northern Passage. Ah, good old 20/20 hindsight

I thought of that but didn't try it...at least I saved my powder charges.
