Does anyone know about how many dog tags it takes to get your up to being "Liked" by the legion. I really want to get the glasses... I am just pick pocketing them right now... I really don't want to kill any NCR...

Turning in about 40 all at once should get you too Liked you'll do need to talk to Caesar at least once before you can get your key from Lucius (talk to Lucius twice, he'll give you the key the second time).

And repeat. You also get fame for fighting in the arena at Fortification Hill and for using The Platinum Chip in the bunker, even if you upgrade the Securitons instead of destroying them. (Caesar takes the noise as a confirmation that you've done as he asked.)
