Icewind Gate 2

Post by Ares2382 »

Hey so I just reinstalled Icewind Dale 2, and was looking for some mods to install along with it, when I came about something called Icewind Gate 2, which was a beta for a mod to convert BG2 to IWD2's ruleset.

I wonder if anyone knows if that worked, and more specifically if it works with BG2:ToB, and if not are there similar mods that do?

What a horrible idea, much better to do the reverse. If there are any mods that do that I might actually take ID2 off the shelf and give it a try.

Well we'll just leave that as something we'll agree to disagree on. There's plenty of people who like BG2 ruleset and plenty of people who like IWD2 ruleset.

This was mod made by the same guy who made all the Weidu mods. So I know if he ever finished it, it would be a good mod, I just can't seem to find anything on it except the beta, that seems to work with BG2:SoA, but nothing on whether it works with ToB as well.

I believe that this mod has never left the beta version as all development on this project has been halted a few years ago.
