Hi
I'm thinking on running through all three games with an druid whom I later in SoA advance to a Avenger. However, as I start the game in SoA I noticed that my companions was at a very high level when starting. For example you're used to have (and all your companions: Jaheira/Minsc) 89.000 exp. When I start playing as a druid they've 161.000 exp ~ being one or two level higher than normal. I know this is due to the fact that you start off as a druid being level 9-10 hence they "follow" the leveling path. But are there some way to not make my companions be the same level of experiance (and not level) as the main character? I want to change this because I actually enjoy leveling all my characters from "scratch" and not let the computor fix one or two more levels that is normal. E.g. I want to have Aerie? Well, if I'm level 12~ which I'll become after only 300.000 exp - then she'll have both cleric and mage level of around 11-12 which means exp around 1,5 millions exp. You get the point eh? Basicly I want a mod that makes joining companions to be of the same amount of experiance rather than actual character level.
I found a mod that changes druids leveling progression to the same as of a clerics (which fix my dilemma above). However, this means my druid will become overwhelmingly overpowered when reaching about 1,5-6 millions of experiance (aka. gaining level 15 which means ALOT more spells) since druids basicly become archdruids by that time. Normally druids need 3 millions experiance points to reach level 15.
Was such a long time I ran through all 3 games now and I really wanna do it again - without any "gaybugs"...
Infinfinf grateful if there is someone out there knowing what to do
Druids!
Try the Level 1 NPCs mod from gibberlings 3: G3: Level 1 NPCs
One component in particular will probably be what you want, and gives you 2 options:
Joinable NPCs more closely match the PC's experience - Optional
1. On initial joining only
2. On initial joining and rejoining
