DA2 gifts

How to give gifts. I have found some of them but when I go to inventory I can't find them. Are they in a certain place?

You get a quest when you find a gift, and you just go talk to the npc and you should get a conversation with them about the gift, I'm pretty sure that the gifts don't appear in your inventory.

When you recieve a Gift for a companion (Highlight for spoiler)

such as the Letters for Carver/portrait for Bethany

, you can't just give them like you did in Origins. You need to find a safe place.

That safe place will always be the companion's homebase. For instance: Carver/Bethany will have a homebase in your home.
