Possible Dorns Deep Barracks Glitch

ive recently decided to replay icewind dale, and i can not seem to find the cache of armor after you defeat the drow Sorcerer and his buddies, the one containing the mithril armor, does anybody else have this problem or am i just to stupid to find it

Items lying on the ground disappear after some time. So if you enter the area and leave it again to rest for a few days outside they'll be gone.

It's the only location in the game where something useful which can disappear is lying on the ground.

thanks kmonster, but i quick saved right after the battle, and i have reloaded from the autosave from entering the barracks area the first time and still cannot find the cache

It's quite impossible that you still have your autosave from first entering this location, when you leave and reenter the autosave gets replaced by new ones.

According to a FAQ, you should be able to find the stuff at coordinates x 2400 y 640.

To find out coordinates (of the mouse cursor), simply press the "x" key in the game.
