How do I remove my own traps? Spoilers

Post by Mr.Waesel »

Hi.

Playing through BG2. Up to hell, about to fight SCSII Improved Irenicus. Buffed up to my eyeballs, traps everywhere.

Problem is, when I open the final seal he pops out and a cutscene is supposed to play (I think), but the traps go off and instantly annihilate him, and the game is stuck in cutscene mode.

So now I need a way to remove my own traps (probably by setting them off). Anyone got an idea?

Summoning a Demon didn't work, summoning a Deva and attacking it (turning it hostile) did. Curious

It's because of the 'Allegiance' tags in the creature file. Summoned demon has 'GoodButRed' (I think) tag, and an attacked deva has 'enemy' tag. Traps set of only on enemies, again, I think.

You could also use the console to cheat in a create, like a random orc, to trigger them also.
