Witch EE help

I'm not to ask for help until I have exhausted the internet but I'm stuck. Installed Witcher EE when I go to click launcher or witcher icon nothing happens. Did also run as admin and all I got was a screen flash and nothing. Did tages, redid bink, so all I could assume was patch 1.5. Every time I go to install it I get. The Witcher is not installed Properly. Cannot be patched. I have uninstalled and reinstalled for the 3rd time now. Anyone have any clue. Running Windows 7. thanks

With windows vista and 7 it may not be enough to run as admin. As an experiment try disabling User account control or UAC in the control panel under security and see if that makes a difference. Also it may be helpful to know if you have a boxed version or a DD version like from Steam or GOG. Other basic stuff like drivers and direct x should be checked if you haven't yet. Seems simple I know but sometimes it's the simple things.
