Now you got ME confused! :) Whatever we do I stay with the group. I'm not so good at charisma skills so whomever has the biggest charisma please take over the leadership and move on. At this moment I have the feeling we complicate ourselves needlessly in debates :)

Potentially.

Now that we've got Kozeph though, it'll mean a five person party so perhaps we should try a democratic approach by presenting the two best options and picking the one we think might be best. That'll have to wait until Kozeph gets in of course but it might help clear up some confusion.

also out of game-
Ehrens' priority of the moment is his morningstar, he has calmed down enough to wait until morning. Elliah will have to accompany him since she has the address and she was the one invited by the 'gaurds'. Shar'ra has offered to come and she is welcome of course, same goes for westan. Now if Westan were to be too impatient to postpone visiting the adventurers guild then he could do that, either solo or with Shar'ra. Maybe one group could run into Kozephs character when it's sorted. Maybe He's already involved with the gaurds organization, and after we offer to help out in order to get our weapons back, they add Kozeph to the group as a clause to make sure we aren't screwing them over, like they did to us.

Back in character-

"Thank you, all of you." Ehrens' heart swelled to see three strangers offering to help him so.
Don't worry! We will recover your weapon friend. I understand this is an important item to you. May I ask why?
Although Westans question was meant with the best of intentions it sent a spike of pain into Ehrens heart. "Of course, It was a given to me by the man who was most important in my life. His name was Wycombe, he was a Priest of Pelor in the village I grew up in, back in Torman. This man took me in when I had nothing, and gave me everything. I don't mean wealth, or any kind of riches you can measure. He taught me how to be a better person, he said that I'd always had the potential, it just needed unlocking. On the day of his death he gave me The Temperate Star as a symbol of my spiritual growth. I promised I would seek out injustice and burn it at its core, and that is exactly what I intend to do on the morrow." Feeling better for sharing all that Ehren took a deep draught of his watered wine and sat back with a deep sigh, lost in thoughts of better days.

Westan nods and tries to comfort Ehren,

I know what do you mean. Don't upset yourself anymore for tonight. Let's enjoy the rest of the meal and the drinks so we can be fresh and strong in the morning. We'll need to be top shape.

... after a slight pause his voice becomes sharp as steel,

I promise you I won't rest until this matter is solved. We will take the Tempered Star back by wits, strength or bribes as necessary. Even if this means to use force and spill their blood for this treachery.

Westan suddenly calms down a bit and turns towards Elliah with a warm smile,

We do have to thank our bright friend over here. If it wasn't for her, we would be robbed now and without a clue about the fact. So cheers to you our little friend!

The conviction in Westans voice bolstered Ehrens hope of reacquiring The Temperate Star. He reached up to touch the Sun Disc of Pelor around his neck and gave thanks to his God for guiding such stout companions to his cause and nodded his thanks to his Westan for his words.
Westan suddenly calms down a bit and turns towards Elliah with a warm smile,

Ehren raised his glass to Westans toast of Elliah,"He is right, without you I would of had no idea where to start my search, so thank you my friend. I feel I must also apologise to you for raising my voice earlier, you didn't deserve it. My emotions on the matter are no excuse."

I'm a bit confused by the back-and-forthness of this discussion. Which was decided upon, the Adventurers' Guild or the Loyalist hideout? Or are you guys splitting up, as Moogleman suggested? Or waiting for kozeph?

Out of game, this may be metagaming but I personally think we should wait for Kozeph.

In game though, I think it sounds like we'll be confronting the guards about the weapons issue. At least Moogleman and I are doing that.

Out of game: Metagaming a bit too and yes I support Siberys idea of waiting for kozeph. I don't know when he can be ready though. If he needs more time he could be introduced a bit later ... I doubt this will be a problem in this type of campaign (i.e., slow paced).

Regarding what's next, I am joining too so it looks like we are all bend for the Loyalist hideout encounter right?

"I thank you both for your kind words, but my fortune was merely a matter of chance. I very nearly became a crossbow bolt pincushion for confronting them." Elliah said, still scratching the tressym's coat gently. "That said, I think it would be wise to gather more information what is going on between these two opposing factions before we simply show up on one side's doorstep. This rebellion in particular seemed keen on recruiting, and I should think that they would be very sour to hear that I want no part of their warfare. If we go, it may come down to four unarmed travelers against an armed militia. It would be wiser to gather as much information as we can before we attempt anything."

Ehren nods, "I see the wisdom in your words, however, the longer we wait, the higher the odds are that our weapons will have moved on. Don't forget they are distributing them to the army they are trying to raise." He drains the rest of his watered wine before saying. "I would rather find The Temperate Star sooner rather than later, but we could spend the early morning researching this rebellion."

Elliah paid the serving girl as she brought her the food she ordered. A roasted avian of some sort, and some manner of fruit that looked like moldy pine cones.

"Dinner, Aesenyth." She said in Druidic to her companion, who was miles ahead of her, having started investigating the roasted bird as soon as it arrived on the table. Wings folded back, her body arched elegantly down, she began to devour her meal voraciously, and it was suddenly clear which food was meant for whom.

Elliah inspected her fruit cautiously, she didn't have the refined sense of smell that her companion had, and these...'berries', for lack of a better term, didn't look edible at all. Still, she took one in her hand and tasted it. It wasn't pomegranate on a cool summer's eve, but it seemed edible enough. She fed on them, contemplating, while she listened to the rest of her companions converse.

Westan just finished his meal and as the servant girl is here he pays for the room and food, plus a generous tip.

Out of game: DM can you please tell me how much coins I need to subtract from my total? Thank you!

Then he turn his attention at the table,

Dear companions, if no one has any other suggestions I think we should all get a good sleep and tomorrow morning we'll see what we can do regarding our loyalist "friends".

Out of game: If everyone agrees about the plan, Westan goes to his room. Otherwise we can continue the debate, though I see no reason to :)

The meal cost 2 gold, the room costs another 4 (that's for everyone, by the way.)

Does everyone go to his/her respective room?

Yeah, I head to my room, and I believe that is the general consensus for the party, to go to the guards tomorrow.

Pleased to see there will be no delays in the hunt for the Temperate Star, Ehren bids the group goodnight and heads up to his room, paying the innkeeper on the way.

I presume this means I paid 6 gold for room and meal? Darn expensive ... I would rather die of traps than of hunger because I am out of cash. Though I cannot stop but sympathize with the DM ... lack of action yields to finding other means to kill off his players (joking) :)

I updated Westan's sheet to reflect this.

Good night everyone! Meet you downstairs early in the morning.

Westan heads off to his room. Once in he checks the window, closes the door with the key and moves a bit the furniture to block obvious entrances. He makes sure to take some precautions so no one can surprise him while he sleeps. Then he takes a light sleep until early in the morning.

Good. Everyone, make sure not to forget to update your sheets when you buy food/go to your room. I'll wait for kozeph to be ready to continue the game, though.

I see that Kozeph has posted so I was just wondering when/where he is relevant to the party. I think everyones gone to there rooms apart from Elliah, so is Akumo going to encounter her now, or everyone when they're awake in the morning?
