Hi, Galraen!
galraen wrote:I suspect he/she is referring to Falcar, personally my preference is to either zap him with a soul trapping spell or item, he fits nicely inside a black soul gem, and is definitely poetic justice.
I was thinking of him too when I wrote it. Hey, do you keep that black soul gem as a keepsake? Or do you recharge his staff or other weapon with it? I used to try to keep the stones I gathered, but lost track of who was who. So now I recharge his or her weapon or enchant the weapon, with his or her own soul and name it after him or her, to go along with the clothes for display on a Reznod Mannequin that is then on display in a home. :)
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading!

Spoilers Ahead

One moment that really made me laugh was on a Mage's Guild quest (the one to save the informant). I head into the ruin to be greeted by a battlemage who urges me to follow him and rushes down the stairs. I draw my weapon and run after him, then WHAM! He is crushed by the trap at the bottom of the stairs. I laughed my ass off.

The first time a bandit (one of the "money or your life" kind) recognized me and declined to fight (my fame was over 100, IIRC).

Getting my ass kicked by Umbra when I wandered into Vindasel on a treasure hunt (at lvl 5), thinking she was just another bandit hiding in a ruin, and having to run away. Only to return later and exact my revenge.

Sending an enemy flying into a fully loaded table of food and seeing everything scatter.

One of the funniest was in the Mythic Dawn cave. All these tough talking Dawnies try to kill me, then run away screaming "Don't Hurt Me!" when I do damage to them.

First time I saw a skeleton shatter into its component parts rather than just fall down.

Can't remember the names and stuff (ages since i played). But one of my favourite moments, was the quest for the Chorrol shopkeeper, where you go into that freaky village, and there all like a cult, insanely epic!
If you are drawn to it...attack it...get obsessed with it and conquer it...it doesn't matter if you think you can do it or not..its all in your head. Nikki Sixx <3

theres two I can think of. one Is an awesome homage to H.P lovecraft's innsmouth. The town that is at the epicenter of much of the wierdness in the mythos. There are several chthulu-y things in oblivion (And I confess I've only played the game passingly so theres probably more I don't know about) including a total love-craftian note about a scholar who acknowlages his madness and goes to fight a monster he knows he can't beat.
but the village I'm thinking of caused me to burst into a fitful torrent of laughter. Right after a fellow with the "innsmouth look" told me "We don't like strangers" in a guttural rasp. At that point I was just nearing the village for the first time and had no idea of the place.
The other one concers a group of human sacrificing cultists but I believe the two are loosely related.

I once threw on the Gray Cowl and walked into Roxy Inn. Right as the game finished loading I saw an arrow barely miss my head and get stuck in the wall right in front of me. Then watched as the entire inn was reduced to a bar fight to the death while i sat down and enjoyed my mead.
We're all going to die some day, I intend to deserve it.
