Quick question about the start..

You are in prison in the beginning, and you can collect a lot of items and stuff in the prologue. Can you regain those items later?

nope..you dont get a chance to go back

you do get your stuff when ya wake up in the tent, and then at foltsam ..also if ya dont kill ayan, he blows up the dungen, if ya kill him you you just save his mom from something and go to the next town]
