Oblivion patch installation

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum here and I have a question. I have also used the search function and I don't think there is anything covering my problem

I try to patch my Oblivion game with patch 1.1 or 1.24 but it won't work. The update just freezes usually (my comp can easily run the game) except for once, when it said the old file was not there or something. I'm using a no CD crack because I lost my GOTY copy. Thanks!

Well, I'm no expert, but I strongly suspect that running a no-disc 'crack' (whatever that is - but I think prolly illegal?) has something to do with it.

Usually patches have to make changes to the "exe" file, but a no-cd crack replaces the original "exe" file, so you are probably out of luck.
