Can anyone tell me how I get back to Foltest? I have fired the ballista but can,t get back to wall.

You can't climb back up where you fell down.
If you're standing behind the ballista, having just fired it:
Walk past the ballista, follow the path. It will lead you to set of stairs going up along the wall. Go up the stairs untill you reach a gate.
Look to your right, move over to the wall. You'll be able to climb up there by clicking.
